Tokyo:Akihabara

So I been Akihabara. The core section is the area surrounding the station. If you go out of that section you see a normal business section and neighborhoods. The section of Akihabara that has the anime is filled with. Huge posters and many maid cafe girls trying to get customers.
A poster of Persona 4, and even videos of the Persona 4 anime playing on small screens in front od shops. There was even some from video games.

This poster was found in a arcade to which there are many and not just in Akihabra.
I won this coin purse at one of the arcades. Cute isn't it.
It only cost me 300 yen to win too.
In fact I feel that arcade prize games are easier in Japan than America.
Some of them are a little weird though.
Speaking of weird in Akihabra:
Smoke in public places have been banned probably because it can hurt the "community". So there are many smoking areas around Tokyo. Several even in my host university. This is the first one I saw though. But, some restaurants can still allow smoking.

Finally, Akihabra isn't just anime and video games there are several electronic store selling all sorts of stuff. There even vendors selling what looks like Lan wire or some other kind of com. wire.
By the way lots of area of Tokyo are loud, flashy, and bright. FYI. It is not just Akihabra.
